Both the Tongan and Samoan versions of this song are great to listen to, with each having its own unique style, etc. The original was a Palagi one, so no need to fight over who of us sang it first and who was last! In fact the songs are meant to make us feel good and enjoy life...not to fight and cause hatred. Peace!

I'm Samoan and personally think that the Tongan version was made first. When I was in Samoa, they used to play the Tongan version everyday! And then months later they started playing Mr Tees version... Either way, they're both beautiful! Those Tongans and Samoans who keep putting down each others nationalities over a song is pathetic! You all need to grow up! We've moved passed this conflict hundreds of years ago. Tonga, you are Samoas loving neighbour. Alofa kele mo oukou uma!

@RiiNahz01 How the fuck is that supposed to be offending you??? Are you kidding me??? All I said is that they played the tongan version everyday!! Meaning, every morning, i woke up to this song playing on the radio! I never heard the Samoan version playing on the radio... then months later when I went back, I heard the Samoan version... THAT'S ALL I'M SAYING!!!! Is that racist to Samoans?? Does that mean I'm hating on Samoans???? You're ridiculous!!!! LIKE I WOULD HATE ON MY OWN KIND!!!
