hmm, this background music is a song called "Television" by the Tempers (a Seattle band)... how weird... no wonder that song is so popular

They are mostly live, and their online version is old/has evolved into something totally different (but the 1:00-1:45 section is what they typically start that song with--guess because the instrumentation is similar, they picked sounds like yours, etc. Mind you, 1st time I saw them was early 2007, so I don't think anyone stole anything, just a coincidence that playing around produces the same thing miles apart... myspace slash thetempers you'll find a very TAME "television" that is I guess v.1?

Thanks for the informations, found and heard the song. There's some similarities between main melodies, and they also used piano :)
Their song is quite good too..
