The HD2 can now install Android, Windows Phone 7, Ubuntu or Meego or what ever you call it. As of now I have Android on it. Visit XDA developers to find out how to install.

Really wish WM7 were available for the HD2. It's a crap shoot each time you install an app with 6.5...some apps will break BT/Wifi/3g - other apps will cause it to freeze.

I bought my HD2 a while ago and i LOVE it. Im not talking bs when i say that it hasnt frozen a single time, and it laggs very rearly but only when the ram has bein all taken over by apps and stuff. I even DROPT it from TWO floors by accident. And the screen, not a single scratch. It got a litle buckle on the left rubber corner of the phone cus of the hard landing but the device worked just as it did before. No lags what so ever. However! It has bein uppdated with every uppdate that there is.

After being so pissed over this phone lagging and crashing. I finally got a chance updated the cooked ROM. Now it seems to be stable, but still many minor issues. Microsoft should put more work into their mobile software. If Microsoft does not deliver good software after WM7, I think they will die. Android and Apple will the only big one in the smartphone market.
