Two instruments (Saaz) being heard are the Kamanche (bow-like instrument similar to the violin) and Tombak (drum).

Performed by a north-western Iranian group called the Lors who (alongside the Bakhtiaris) are believed to be the descendants of the ancient Persians (Parsi).
