  • In my opinion - body combat is more about strength, coordination and cardio than strict adherance to martial technique. The intent within BC is not defence or practical boxing. Anyone who thinks, going to their Les Mills Body Combat class is turn them into a boxing-ring master is mistaken. To be honest the girl in black seemed the most competent out of all of them - she should have been the instructor.

  • If you were a boxer, use would have a broken nose in seconds. You are teaching people to strike with elbows, not swim. Snap the elbows using the midsection and hips AND block the side of the face with your other hand and forearm.

Your technique is reflected in the students. And try not to look up all the time, it teaches to keep your chin up.

  • Èe . . .o Body Combat é mesmo apaixonante ! . .mas a garota que se apresenta com esse professor parece mais competente , eficaz e técnica Yeah ! BC is such awesomely exciting ! but honestly , the girl with the instructor seemed to be the real instructor due to her technique out of all others . . .

  • @Alixhassan I agree there are distinct differences in styling between instructors. However that said in my opinion some of the fundmental limitations in terms of body combat as a defensive training tool is the lack of actual hand contact, 1 on 1 interaction with an oponent, in-depth technical instruction of defensive / offensive techinques. BC instructors clearly touch the surface of this material to engage with the routine however I think its hard to argue it maximises actual defensive abilty

  • @bitpri05 It depends on how the instructor teaches BodyCombat, some instructors dont have the natural essences of mixed martial arts, or authentic technique/moves. SO they end end up teaching in such a way that looks more aerobics. Its the technique that makes the difference. Some instructors just dont have that natural martial art technique hence why it sometimes looks like dancing :s.

  • Graxas á faixa 6, quando comexo esta faixa nem sinto as pernas lol xD

  • Very bad his technique should improve with time and help students :/

  • yes, but the art of a good kick, for example, is what makes the muscle work properly, and if you do not have someone to show you , than you are wasting your time. I agree , the girl is good, but with some real skill on the boxing bag, and some weight down, her movement would look nice and precise.

  • Deze gasten maken bodycombat zeer belachelijk.

  • love this mauy thai track after smashing legs
