hey tmot, i was wondering if you could give insight to luke 16:19-31. i wanted to know how this correlated to the teachings in revelation.

People use that reference as the basis of purgatory and being with Christ after death and ALL before the Judgement. Scripture is clear. Death is the cessation of life. After the first, sleep until awakened for the Judgment. Then, the second death to those whose names are not found in the book of life. I think this story is one of showing you can be up one day, treating people like crap, and down the next looking for some assistance.

i dont want to be a muslim or christian or whatever it is.

and i feel and know that I dont need any GOD.

Maybe you need a god.. thats good for you. so just..belive in what you want.. no one is going to stop you..

My mom and dad gave me a life.

@timsh6 The Greek term translated spirits can refer to human spirits, angels, or demons.

There are three main interpretations: Some interpret these verses as describing JESUS as

going to the place where fallen angels are incarcerated and declaring HIS final victory over evil in

HIS work on the CROSS.
