@msu15 I would be happier with Butler at the 2 if Kidd could create for himself or force double teams. But Butler has to play like the point guard as he has to take over the dribbling a lot of times as Marion won't help you there. This team becoming an iso team with the big ball lineup. We need a player that can break down defenses (Beaubois). I like Marion's game but his lack of dribbling, passing, and his lack of confidence in his shot can bog down this team on offense. Backup 3 and 4 fits.

I like Butler at the 2, I like how he can get his own midrange jumper and knock it down consistently. But I do agree on Dirk, and we saw some of that tonight, with Marion and Najera.

Great analysis. I don't know why Carlisle won't free Beaubois unless an injury. It's not like Terry has been lighting it up lately. And I'm not a big fan of Butler at the 2 guard. He seems better suited at the 3. Marion can play some 4 and we could cut Dirk's minutes as he looks tired.
