  • Wow! She must be 80-81 in this video... just imagine the kind of practice (or should I say sadhakam) she must have done to keep singing like this even at that age. And what feeling!....what sublime bhava!

    PS : While a lot is written about MS Amma's voice, not much is written about her relentless efforts to maintain it in it's sublime form...

  • @Chempadu123 Like all other Indian languages , Telugu is a derivative of Sanskrit and not Tamil. Some Tamil historians however claim Tamil is not a derivative of Sanskrit, but has an independent origin.

  • Is it just me that or is the video slightly out of sync with the audio? I can see the words getting mouthed earlier than the sound (I guess since light travel faster than sound :-) ). Of course, none of this takes away from the divinity of MS' singing.
