My Dad has a 66 series 5 that has a 289 in it from an old mustang paired up with a c4 auto trans. its lots of fun scaring the crap out of people with it.

i'm no expert but i don't want to say it's a 4 cylinder. i don't know too much about sunbeams, but that really sounded like a V8. might have been the guy next to it. I know the tiger fans hate when you put a V8 in an alpine though. what my dad's doing though. he's putting his old 289 that he raced in his mustang with in it.

Sweet. Series 1 to 3 is already one of the prettiest cars of all time, an unrecognised styling masterpeice. This one looks even hotter.
