I love this beach!
Even though there's a fee (now $13), it's the most versatile beach on LI accessible to the NYC public.
I started running a few months ago, and got new Asics running shoes - it was only about 70 degrees yesterday and I went and put my shirt on and ran all the way up and down the boardwalk to get my body temperature up! 30 minutes straight of jogging!
There's very little ghetto people there and most are local families who are respectful, quiet, and not too many smoke!

should have turned off the sound. or added some cool music. I stopped riding on the boardwalk too many morons walk in front of you and its like an obstacle course. Add music and repost!

I love when you get to Edwards and you have all the out of town idiots walking in the bike lane.

@eimear797 it is 2.2 miles long and stretches from the east end to ny ave in the west end.
