About Globally Unlocked 3G iPhones (Hong Kong) - Watch in High Quality!!!

Lately, I have been reading lots of comments of people who claim that globally unlocked iPhones from Hong Kong are not real.

Just wanted to make a short video regarding those "Globally Unlocked" 3G iPhones you have been hearing about.

My reply: Regarding your questions in the quoted paragraph above, yes you can get the new iPhone 3G in cellphone shops around Hong Kong. You can get them in 2 different ways, one is by going to a "3" store and have an iPhone 3G at a subsidized price with a monthly plan (just like in the States) and the second option is to get one without a contract (which is not official) . All iPhones 3G from Hong Kong come unlocked by default btw, but based on your situation, I'm pretty sure that you are interested in getting one without a contract (since you are just visiting Hong Kong; not living).

You can find them all around Hong Kong in Cellphone shops.... prices of unlocked iPhones 3G without contracts are expensive though... because in order for the shops to sell them unlocked and contract free they first had to buy them with a contract and then terminate it (paying all the cancellation fees and in some cases even the 2 full years of charges...)

I would say that the price range is about 750 to 800 US Dollars.....

It is expensive.... but it is 100% unlocked. So no hacks to mess around with, no roaming with AT&T, etc....

in australioa we can buy tham unlocked from ap[ple user on any net work and therre only cost $700

HK is the best place to buy any electronics (even Apple). All the phones are unlocked (and cheaper than the West.). I bought a sim over there costing HK$25 (£1.80) and the calls were charged at HK$0.03 per minute - almost nothing.

sorry, I got mine off the three network in Fortress and it was unlocked, I inserted my CSL 1010 sim card and it worked. Then I had to put in my 3 Sim card and it also worked, so basically, all iPhones in HK are unlocked, retail and online.
