  • We need high-speed rail now. If we wait, the more it's gonna cost. And we can't afford to build more highways and expand airports either.

  • bottom line is my cost vs convenience. build what you must, just make sure it is affordable for everyone or it just will not work. matter of fact, make it really low and people have no need for cars. if it cost the same amount of money to travel then i'm driving bcuz it's more convenient in my car. In the bay area, many people still drive because BART is not cheap not so convenient.

  • Your right because there will be more traffic, airtraffic, and no room, if they even temper with the highway system, this is going to creat more car accident, airspace would be over crowded. unless we get High speed rail, there will be more people getting killed on the highways, and airlines.
