Chevy Chase has always been one of my most favorite actors to watch. But his style of comedy heavily relied on planning. The whole environment of a talk show host was a bad placement for him. Then again, if he had approached the show with the intent of being completely opposite of serious, he could have pulled it off. But again it would have to be planned. Then again, interviewing guests killed him. He wasnt all that witty. He just played that character.

as bad as this show was i'm trying to find a segment my grandma was on his show he was walking doing something like on the street and interviewed her Her name was elaine brink if u could help me or post this it would much appreiated it's hard 2 find cause it wasn't on too long thanks!!!!

The reason the show was so bad was cause it's not what Chevy wanted..he wanted skits and offbeat comedy..didn't wanna be sitting behind some desk..that's not the way he does comedy.

Yes. I have video of the Pat Sajak show. The Pat Sajak Show was a little better then this show
