  • Om ma ni pe me hung...

  • thanks for this jewel of LOVE!

  • All Dharmas are liberating! The true spiritual growth causes no illness, but is purely medicine to all who come across it, as per their karma! The realized being has an allure that causes others to give up their suffering can appear in many forms, from physical, to a perfect joyous body like an illusion, to the unformed uncreated pure potential consciousness which is the true nature of all phenomena including us! Om Swasti! Namo Milarepa Namo Shakyamuni, Namo all Thatagathas!

  • I don't care if his hair it to his tip toes. It is the teacher's message. I am not use to the long hair or the clothing actually, I practise Tibetan Buddhism, Gelupe lineage. Buddhism is not a religion for one thing. HHDL stated, if we all lost our religion, we would stil be okay. He was speaking to the masses of all different beliefs.

Far be it for me to critize anyone. I only know what I know, and there is greater learning for me, on all subjects. My opinion means nothing.

  • it's interesting how people who are dead set against religion of any kind are as fundamental and fanatic as any die hard fundamental, fanatical religionist. two peas in a pod.

  • vicknagy keeps flogging "religion is a poison to the mind". i'll counter with the original statement made by karl marx: "religion is the opiate of the people" and use kurt vonnegut's counterarguement against the marx statement: at the time of karl marx opium was the strongest pain killer available to the people, it was something that made one feel good. in this light it makes the old arguement much weaker.

  • Saying that one "received teachings from" HH Dalai Lama & HH Karmapa would imply you're Buddhist to most people. A non-Buddhist would probably say they "heard him speak" or had "an audience with" him or something. "Received teachings" is a very very specific phrase... That's probably why people think you're Buddhist.

  • Lama Gursam visited Sault Ste. Marie again this August and I eagerly await his safe return next year. Maximum compassion, Lama-Lha!

  • only the fools sees faults from outside.
