*conversation takes place while walking towards Mr. and Mrs. Howard*
Kevin: You ready?
Leah: Yeah. Why you worried about me? You're the one who'll be pummeled by questions.
Kevin: Oh. Right. *palms start to sweat*
Leah: *looks down at hands and starts laughing*
Kevin: What's so funny?
Leah: Oh, nothing.. *laughs a little harder*
Kevin: No seriously!
Leah: Do you remember our first date..?
Kevin: Umm..
Leah: Haha.. I'll remind you.. We were at the movies.. You reached for my hand.. I thought about it for a while then thought Hey, what's the worst that could happen? But a couple seconds after..
Kevin: HEY I REMEMBER!! *starts laughing* Now I see why it's funny. Your hands were sweaty and you got all cute and blushy *laughs harder* Speaking of sweaty.. *lifts up hands between their faces* Is that you again? *laughs*
Leah: Uh.. Kevin.. That's not me this time..
Kevin: AHH! *blushes embarrassed, pulls hand away and rubs on jeans*
Leah: *laughs* We can try again. This time lets not let the perspiring glands on our hands get in the way. Shall we?
Kevin: Hey, that's what I said! *holds hand again*
Leah: Ah, no sweat this time?
Kevin: *smirk* *a few moments of holding hands later* Then you said..
Kevin & Leah: *simultaneously* Im actually starting to like you.
Leah: And look at us now. *smiles*
Mrs. Howard: There you two are. *smiles*
Mr. Howard: I'm thinking steaks.
Kevin: Wise choice, sir. I'm thinking the same.... sir. Heh. *smiles cheesy, fake coughs to fill silence*
Leah: *elbows Kevin* Sounds good. You paying? *laughs*
Mrs. Howard: *laughs* Of course. It's all on us. Were you planning to ride with us or follow in a cab or your car?
Kevin: Depends. Who's paying for the gas? *laughs* *silence*
Leah: *fake laughs* Ha. Ha. *elbows him again* Umm, we'll take a cab.
Mrs. Howard: Alright. I'm thinking.. Rosenberg's?
Mr. Howard: EXCELLENT. Best steaks EVER. Let me tell you son, even a vegetarian would stop their senseless ways to get a bite of a steak over at Rosenberg's.
Kevin: *smiles* Rosenberg's it is.
Mrs. Howard: Well then, follow us.
*RIDE OVER TO ROSENBERG'S*
Kevin's POV
Oh my god. I still couldn't grasp the thought that I was in a restaurant. A super swanky one too. With Leah. With her parents. I was excited, scared, in love, restless.. The list could go on. It was like a dream and nightmare at the same time.

*They all sit down towards the back of the restaurant*
Leah: So.. tell me.. what do you guys do for a living to afford all this?
Mrs. Howard: *looks at Mr. Howard* No, tonight isn't about us. It's about you two. Why don't you tell me about you?
Leah's POV
Inside, I was starting to feel so much joy. I was so overwhelmed at my parents' change. They seemed so wealthy.. and healthy and just so.. perfect. With every question they asked, I answered with so much emotion and as well as I could. With how I felt right there, everything fell into place. Kevin on my side, Dad eating his steak, haha, and mom there talking to me about everything that she wasn't there for to answer. Boys, drama.. just everything. Although I barely felt it, there was still a slight feeling of fear in me. It was like a dream and nightmare at the same time.

Kevin: Wow. Tonight has been such a great turnout. *pats stomach* Good eats. *smiles at Mr. Howard* Good conversation *smiles at Mrs. Howard* Good everything. *smiles at Leah* But there's one thing that I've been waiting for the entire time. *sits up straight*
Leah: Oh, me too! Where's the dessert? Mmm!
Mrs. Howard: Oh! I simply forgot! How does some creme brulee sound?
Leah: Delicious!
Kevin: As mouthwatering as that sounds.. it wasn't what I was talking about
Mr. Howard: Wine?
Kevin: I don't drink. No.. what I meant was..
Leah: What Kevin?
Kevin: *inhales and exhales heavily* Leah Howard..
Leah: Yes?
Kevin: With approval of your parents.. *gets on one knee* I'd like to ask for your hand in marriage. *opens a box with a ring in it*
Everyone: *gasp and eyes widen*
