Improv Everywhere freeze at Ikea in Bloomington, MN

I guess they got kicked out of the Mall of America*, so they moved over to the Ikea store across the street. I intended to get some pictures at the MoA but when they were a no show, headed to Ikea to get some shopping done. When I came down to the registers, to my surprise, there they were. Great job guys. Keep this kind of thing up. It was great listening to all of the Ikea customers completely and utterly confused. Apologies for the short video, but I wasn't intending record this video here and had a handful of stuff I was checking out.

*The Mall of America security is unreal. Upon heading to the parking ramp that the IE group was meeting at, I had four or five security guards go running by me as if there was a real emergency. When I got to the meeting place, I found the IE people surrounded by guards. I then turned around and went downstairs assuming it was canceled. On the way I followed behind and heard a couple of guards talking as if they had surrounded a group of terrorists and were in some sort of stand off. Unbelievable. Note to MoA security: you are guarding a mall, not a national treasure of some sort. Get over yourselves.

Trust me, I wanted to. I'm sure we'll see more up from those actually involved in this. I was simply a shopper at the time I ran into this and had an arm-full of ikea merch or I'd have recorded for longer and from other angles.

WOW - When I first watched the NY Train Station and Trafalger Square videos a couple of minutes ago my first thought was why not the Mall of America!? That would be an awesome location! Sorry to hear that it didn't work out there! However, as for their security, I was there once when they thought a child had been abducted and I tell you what - that place shut down instantly! I was totally impressed with the level of security! They did find the child - but he WAS in the hands of a stranger!
