N.J. State Baseball Champion Chris Lowery organized a town-wide campaign in Randolph, N.J., to send used baseball and softball equipment to needy children in the Dominican Republic. Aided by Food For The Poor, the Brother's Brother Foundation and Florida Marlins player Emilio Bonifacio, Lowery distributed more than 2,000 mitts, bats, balls, helmets, catchers gear, cleats and uniforms to orphans and the young members of a local baseball league.
