  • @jons4real its called turn the volume up

  • man.... I really want to watch this video but I can barely hear you....

  • if you use a prussik poop above the stick or knotles setup then you can hold the weight of the bag with that and a length of cord to your foot, never tried but it seems it might work, and seems the prussik loop without extra cord will slip through the carabiner, just an idea please give me feedback of its effectiveness.

  • Great video and very clear explanation of your technique. As people have already pointed out, you don't need to pull the running end of the cord all the way through a clove hitch... the knot is much easier tied by making two loops and stacking one behind the other, then sliding your stick in place. This way no specialized equipment is needed. But if you want to use that PVC for a bong, then it might be worth bringing.

  • What is PCT? Nobody is saying what it is.

  • You've basically tied a marlin spike hitch with the piece of PVC as the toggle. As others have said you don't have to feed the end of the rope through to make a clove hitch either. View any climbing knot video and this will be evident.

  • ablejack3 is right. No need the draw the rope through to tie a clove hitch. Watch how a sailor does it. Loop over the twig, twist once, loop over again, and you're done. It's actually easier to make than your tie with the PVC pipe.

Nice idea, but you have to carry a piece of PVC, while a twig you can pick up off the ground, or a chopstick is lighter.

  • you don't have to pull the whole loose end through when tying a clove hitch.
