Hi I am Vanessa from www.ihatebudgets.com.au (Personal Budgeting Made Easy). I am 20 year old from Australia. I will be sharing with you my journey of how I achieve my goal of purchasing a first home with my partner. At the moment, I am trying to save as much as I can so that I can have a better bargaining power with the lending institutions. Also I will have choices when negotiating for a loan if I can prove that I am a responsible person. If I keep to a good budget and monitoring discipline I can prove to the lender that I can take up a loan and will meet my repayments obligations. If I am less risky to the lender, I can get a lower interest rate and that is where my savings will come as a result of my budgeting routine.
