Washington Mutual Bank Run

JPMorgan Chase & Co., the third- biggest U.S. bank by assets, agreed to acquire the deposits of Washington Mutual Inc. for $1.9 billion as the thrift was seized by regulators in the biggest bank failure in U.S. history.

The U.S. government closed Seattle-based Washington Mutual amid customer withdrawals of $16.7 billion since Sept. 15, the Office of Thrift Supervision said in a statement. WaMu had 'insufficient liquidity' and was in an 'unsound' condition, the OTS said.

Good choice! Everyone should take a look at the last few minutes of Zeitgeist addendum (the whole movie is terrific IMO). There are several tangible steps for withdrawing you support for the fed reserve system. Not doing business with BofA, JP Morgan Chase, or CitiBank (I believe) is very important since these are the primary power elites that are controlling our Nation today.

I think Wamu was targeted because they offer(ed) free checking and were relatively decent... JP Morgan, the Rockefellers, and the rest of the NWO are going for an even more centralized world banking system for total control.

This bailout plan is just one more step to socialism as well. Think about it: they want people to believe that if the government had been in control, this would never have happened!

The credit union's credit union failed last week. It was an enourmous bank that lent to millions of credit unions around the nation. We'll see a lot of credit unions all over the nation starting to crater.
