Beginning in 2012, new U.S. legislation will go into effect to slowly begin to replace energy-wasting incandescent light bulbs with options that are at least 30% more efficient, including halogen bulbs, CFLs and LEDs. These small changes will save U.S. consumers $40 BILLION in energy costs over the next several years.

  • This is the light the Luciferians made us use, so you can get an idea about the 'Light' of 'Lucifer the Light bearer'. Feels and looks horrible and you need to evacuate building if it breaks as it's full of mercury, and the flicker will slowly drive you mad! Which is a neat symbol of his light ~K I L L U M I N A T I ~

  • THIS IS A LIE!!!!! THIS SATANIC GO'VT WILL BE EXPOSED~K I L L U M I N A T I ~

  • @bennyboi808

Yes, Haitz's Law is a great thing!

  • Nobody passed a law to stop us using candles. Why do we need to pass a law to phase out lightbulbs?!! Stupid stupid stupid.

  • so what do they expect to do with all the cfl's when they burn out? sure it'll be down the road but good luck properly disposing those mercury filled bulbs. now leds on the otherhand, they will eventually light the world! =)

  • Great simple explaination of upcoming legislation! Never did like CFL's or LED's, but LEDS have really come a long way! GE has a great new PAR lamp that is dimmable.
