It's clear that you changed the arrangement in good faith to try to tap into something different, highlighting what you liked about the original, while personalizing it. And, just like the original, not everyone will like it. In some ways the changes work, and in other places, they work less. But, please don't listen to anyone who says to leave a work alone the way it is. Innovators don't leave things the way they are. They innovate.

I didn't like it, changing the tempo up to that fast sort of made the song mean less. Just like you wouldn't say I love you to someone as fast as possible, you should have left it how it was and I thought the singing was a bit of for the song. But none the less don't give up on music, keep at it you have talent I just didn't care for this cover.
