Here is a promotional score piece from "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" by Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross. FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. No copyright infringement intended. In theatres 12-21-11.

Forty years ago, Harriet Vanger disappeared from a family gathering on the island owned and inhabited by the powerful Vanger clan. Her body was never found, yet her uncle is convinced it was murder and that the killer is a member of his own tightly knit but dysfunctional family. He employs disgraced financial journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) and the tattooed, asocial computer hacker Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara) to investigate. When the pair link Harriet's disappearance to a number of grotesque murders from almost forty years ago, they begin to unravel a dark and appalling family history. But the Vangers are a secretive clan, and Blomkvist and Salander are about to find out just how far they are prepared to go to protect themselves.

"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" is the first film in Columbia Pictures' three-picture adaptation of Stieg Larsson's literary blockbuster, The Millennium Trilogy. Directed by David Fincher, the film is based on the first novel in the trilogy, which altogether have sold 50 million copies in 46 countries and become a worldwide phenomenon. The screenplay is by Steven Zaillian.

  • This song is godlike. listening to it makes u in vision something dark, mysterious, and foreboding . I cannot wait to see this movie. every track from it so far is by far the best piece of music ive heard since the social network soundtrack.

  • @DanielBrown91 Absolutely! I feel really bad for saying this, but the five Dragon Tattoo score clips are a million times better than the entire Social Network score, and this is coming from someone who absoultely LOVED it!

  • Finally a decent Craig film since Casino Royale.

  • Hans Zimmer Fanboys will be jealous. Tired of Zimmer's over-rated repetitive crap. Reznor knows how to keep the sounds of his work distant from each other. Impressive to hear how far his music talent has gotten him. Reminds me how Danny Elfman used to have rock band and eventually did music for Tim Burton.
