  • It is orchard grass and fescue mix hay. It is yielding about 2 plus 4"x5" round bales per acre. If one cuts hay on Monday, one can typically bale on wednesday. However with cloudy days we have had to bale on a thursday or friday. The orchard grass is pretty tough to dry out properly.

  • What kind of hay/grass are you cutting? Looks pretty thick...how many bales will you get per acre (square or round)? Is there a certain moisture content you look for before you bale? How long does it typically take for the hay to dry from cutting?

    Thanks, nice video
