DEADLY WOMEN - BORN BAD PT. 2 - GERTRUDE BANISZEWSKI

This is a better looking version of the episode "Born Bad" from the series "Deadly Women". Gertrude Baniszewski tortures and kills Sylvia Likens in 1965 Indianapolis with the help of her children and other neighborhood kids. While staying in the Baniszewski home from July 4 to October 26, 1965, Sylvia Likens endured mutilation, branding, beatings, burning by cigarettes and matches, starvation, psychological abuse, captivity in a basement, scalding in hot baths, and many other abuses. The abusers names are Gertrude Baniszewsi, her daughters Paula, Marie, and Shirley, her son John, neighbors Ricky Hobbs, Coy Hubbard, Anna Siscoe, Darlene MacGuire, Randy Lepper, Mike Monroe, and Judy Duke. Gertrude was sentenced to life but paroled after only 20 years, and died five years after her release of cancer. Paula only served a few years, during which she escaped from prison and was re-captured twice. Pregnant during Sylvia's abuse and murder, she gave birth while in jail and named her daughter "Gertrude". Hobbs, Hubbard, and John Baniszewski only served two years, and are now deceased. Charges against all the others were dropped. Paula still lives somewhere in Iowa.

Watch 'An American Crime'. It's horrifying. I feel so bed for her. She went through so much more too... Gertrude forced her to shove a coke bottle up herself, and even severely burned her vagina. I don't understand how people can find pleasure in this. It's scary how many monsters there are out there.
