It may be a Steve Gadd lick, but he can play it very well. I liked it a lot! That's what matters to me. Rick is a very good drummer!!

I hate people who actually think what they say means anything, no ones an exert anymore it seems, we are all self created experts, fuck the internet sometimes.

@arobdrummer Very true. In fact, I think youtube's best drummers are the quiet ones. As for all society in general, people who don't appreciate other's work or some great artistic pieces like these don't really know about talent or drumming or art in general. I consider myself an average drummer and I'm sure I can't reproduce this exactly.

STOP fighting people. That's enough.
Just stick to the program. Watch the video, comment in a GOOD way, and don't make any more negative comments, or I'll start to ease them.
Please... give me a break. Seriously.

Does anyone know what head is on that snare?

Evans. Look for his profile and setup in the official web site.
Best Regards.

Cheers for the reply, but on his site, the head is different lol, it looks more like it could be an onyx or hybrid?

That's because this video is old, of the 90s. The kit changed. In the present day, he uses Istanbul cymbals and he also changed other sponsors, like Sennheiser, etc.
