  • I have had others tell me that. I used 3 nails cuz i read it in an old book, and that was their method. If two work, NICE!!! I can use the third one to clean out the spinach out of my teeth:-)

  • cool technique!! 10 stars!!

  • Don't use yarn. It's far to stretchy. Also the third nail is used to tension the string. Without it you would not have any slack for the oval.

  • BigChopperoo, why do you need to put the string in the 3 nails 'cuz you can just put it on the 2 nails? sorry for the question.

  • You actually dont need the first nail.

  • Thats not cheesy, thats a pretty good tip for someone not in the field every day

  • Wait, what? This is so cheesy. And fake.

  • Great tip, this is going to help me make my first million.

  • is the 3rd nail really that necessary? or could you just use the 2 for the length

  • Thank You! This is wonderful. I am making a door sign and this method will allow me to make a professional grade oval for my welcome signs. I am throwing away the free hand oval I made. GREAT! Just great!
