  • Specs?

  • @rogerstill71 What do you want to know? It's a 110Hp flathead straight 8 with two valves per cilinder from 1941.

Max RPM is 4000 and it is using a Hydra-Matic transmission.

Carburetor is a Carter WDO Double Barrel.

If you want to know something else I will look it up in the Manual.

    Jesper

  • @Jespertichelaar Thank you. It's certainly a nice old engine, What was the displacement (cubic inches)?

  • @rogerstill71 It's 257,1 cu. in. 110 HP @ 3600RPM

  • Knock Knock!

    Who's there?

Oh it's just the rod bearings, no big deal.

  • @TestECull Haha I thought it were Rod Bearings but it turned out that the ignition was a bit off.

  • ALOT of torque sitting there.

Looks like a fun little project!

  • @Jespertichelaar Thanks! Kinda small for eight. Not knocking it, though.

  • @Jespertichelaar Just a little timing knock, no big deal.

  • @TestECull lol, thats funny, but that was a spark knock, not a bearing knock

  • @Jespertichelaar That's good to know. I don't imagine a lower end kit is terribly cheap for such an old engine.
