  • By temporarily controling ICP, you mean before renal compensation takes place, correct? So, it kinda begs the question, do cerebral arteries/arterioles respond to CO2 or to pH? The reason I ask this is because if the cerebral ateries respond to CO2, couldn't you still hyperventilate a patient despite renal compenation? I'm trying to figure out the logic and the physiology behind that method, not necessarily the answer. That I alrady know.
