Absolutely beautiful! Looks like a tiny town. Where's the nearest grocery store?

@LottieSue Hi, the nearest grocery store is about 2 miles from the house, on the highway that comes into town :) The population of the town and surrounding area is about 5,500 people. It's a tiny town, no traffic lights but lots of visitors in the summer - via car, train and cruise ship.

Just makes ya want to stay in and sew.... doesn't it???? I almost moved to Anchorage as my son was going to be stationed there, but his orders got changed. Have always wanted to see Alaska! Do you have more videos of your area? Would love to see them! Cheers, Trish

@CrazyShortcutQuilts Thats nice of you to remember that but Im sure there is much more interesting to show from Alaska than trains - like this for example! You got such a deep chilly highsnow winter already in the beginning of november! I guess you have longer winters than summers in your area

Holy cow. HOLY COW! Maybe I could be an Alaska "Summer-bird!" Oh, those long days of summer -- but the short short short days of winter! The snow is gorgeous but I don't think I could take all that dark . . . thanks for sharing how beautiful it is with all that snow!
