Thin Lizzy The Boys are Back in Town cover by Jem

This is a great, fun song to play!
On the Thin Lizzy original they tuned down slightly but the backing track I've got is in standard tuning, so it will sound slightly different to the original. Also on the backing track it sounds like they have used either chorus flange or phaser, especially on the outro. I tried various effects but they all sounded too much so I just used slight distortion all the way through.

the F# in the verse should be a minor, not a major. and a couple other chord mishaps in the verses, but other than that, sounds good! :)

Hi,

You are the 2nd person that has said this. I played this song a while ago now, but I have just looke at the music that I used which came from Total Guitar Mag and I am playing it exactly as it is in there, if it's wrong TG have transcribed it wrong from the original music.

Main thing is...it doesn't sound bad!
