Ulhas Kashalkar is one of the prime representatives of Gwalior and Jaipur Gharana. Gifted with a melodious, superbly flexible voice, Kashalkar's gaykee is especially noted for its pure, traditional rendering in his own aesthetic interpretation.

His immense popularity is reflected in his numerous releases in India and abroad, and he has performed extensively across the world.

Kashalkar is currently engaged as a guru at the Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata
