I have to say, your videos have inspired me to take up retro gaming. I since bought a super nintendo and just bought zombies ate my neighbors and demon's crest. I also have a strong affinity for capcom and well, thanks HVGN. Not every game has to have HD graphics to be considered amazing

@censorethemoon No, that's his opinion. I love the HVGN, and I think that IG is also a worthy competitor in the classic game reviewing community. Why can't we just all agree to disagree, and leave each other alone? It is just stupid to bitch over something so trivial.

I noticed that the Game Over screen was with purple blood. I've always had the Genesis version, and it has red blood. Sega does what Ninten-don't.

@censorethemoon The guy has some great reviews, but having a name like HVGN, even if it's meant as a homage, cheapens his work. Why not go with something original, iyf be much better

Herc's Adventures!! Thank you thank you thank you!! I've always wanted to know the name of this game!! I used to play it all the time when I was a child with my little brother, and sometimes with my father, but I never really knew the name of the game until now, so thank you!!

@censorethemoon he might not be a rip off, but he's still fuckin gay lOL

@clearmute you can beat it with every password, I'll give you you need a lot of knowledge of the game to do that, but if that's a goal of yours getting the knowledge may prove easy enough if you got the patience. When I was little my brother and I beat it with the lvl 41 password, we decided that was a good password and played and played until we had memorized what to do, if we had enough health to continue, or we should reset, etc.

I like this guy. He pays tribute to James but also does his own spin. Unlike the irate gamer who brazenly copies avgn and pretends like he is unique

I just realized that I've only made it to the pyramid. . . so I'm still in the "training" levels.
-
@TheNintendo101 No but apparently you're because you can't even spell stupid right.
@D4MVP Not only is he really humble to James, but he ISN'T, really, a clone, a rip-off, etc. Rather, he was inspired by James, and through that inspiration, came up with his own, original, alternative idea, and he made it work really well, IMO. James reviews horrible games, Derek reviews underrated, classic games. Two different, albeit similar, things, like a shotgun and an assault rifle.
IG, a second tier version of James? That is *EXTREMELY* generous.

A really good review for a really funny game! One addition: When you play coop, the first laugh is often right at the level introduction. Like: "EVEN MORE TERROR IN... LEVEL 14!" If you played the game, you'll know.
