Sri Rudram (Anuvaka 9-11 ) - Hymn with English subtitles Yagur Veda contains Mritunjaya Mantra

This pre-eminent Vedic hymn to Lord Shiva and Rudra is chanted in Shiva temples throughout India and during yagna's. WIthin Anuvaka 11 is the famous Mritunjaya Mantra.

Each anuvaka has several mantras.

Shiva's duality as Rudra and Shiva... destroyer and granter of boons is highlighted, so also the nature as the omnipresent God potent in all directions.
