Just listen to the intro & the first lines of the lyrics are just perfection. I don't think this sound could be recreated today, only sampled.
Beautiful track in it's simplicity. The backing horns excellent,& the flute sounds very basic which makes this sound even better with the excellent soulful voice of Phyliss over the top of it.
