A great thing about this beautiful lady is that she suspends reality in her pieces. I have seen several of her works and during the viewing you cease to see La Binoche and see the character she has taken on. In Le Ballon Rouge as Suzanne, you see the harried single mom dealing with her son, her job, her deadbeat tenant, not Juliette Binoche the actress. This is the sign of a REAL performer, not just someone going through the steps...

France 24 has three channels ENGLISH, FRENCH AND ARABIC so they have to work their content for all three. This is a little unusual as a rule if a subject speaks for French and English as she does they shoot it twice. I have all their channels and I see many interviews done double.

Binoche's mother is of Polish descent, and her maternal Polish-Catholic grandparents were imprisoned at Auschwitz because they were intellectuals. Binoche also has French, Flemish, Brazilian and Moroccan ancestry. Her parents divorced when she was four and Binoche and her sister Marion were sent to a boarding school. HER MATERNAL GRANDPAERENTS WERE POLISH.
