I'm Black,and I didn't vote for either Obama or McCain cuz neither had anything to offer in my opinion! My thing is,it's your fault if you bought a gas guzzler.I own a Mountaineer and yes,I get only 12MPG.But I knew what I was buying,and I can afford it,whether the gas prices were high or low.Know what your buying first,do research on the vehicle instead of getting rid of something good. Not ny fault if you got laid off.Find something better!!!

your right when you say the cars will go to the auction. the problem is that us smaller car lots needed their trade in. (i own a car lot) we needed their most likely great car that would have sold at a dealer auction for $2500 to $3500. now. we cannot get that car because its getting crushed. what is a person supposed to do when they dont want some $900 junker, and they dont want some $9000 debtmobile? There's truly nothing in between for average people and its causing problems.

I Am A Democrat but more Independent I favor what benefits the majority Not a rich few. Yes I thought cash for clunkers was a bad Idea especially with Me being poor & Not qualifying even though I can make the payments Its just banks do Not loan money unless you have sold your Soul to the Illuminati system. But the good side Is maybe one generation of cars are skipped, when You buy a used car It will be a newer used car but will cost more & still be junk just newer junk.
