I hope Leo didn't catch any people germs. People are dirty.

It's amazing how our conures are so alike. My Cockiteel is almost nothing like my conure.

wow you are not afraid that he would fly away?

@rax7 Totally not. We did a lot of training with him when he was very young. He did this bath thing pretty much every day. He'd fly off to a tree over the swingset and dry off while my son would play on the playground. Then he'd ride the swings with us (there's a vid), and show-off some tricks for bystanders - he would fetch dollar bills :)

Leo is so adorable...I've watched several videos and he just amazes me! Has he ever flown away outside?
I have two green cheeked conures (parent raised, so they're not as people-friendly) that just turned one, and I've been trying to teach them stuff, but so far I've only gotten them to bob their heads when they want a treat (and now they "say yes" whenever you're eating as you walk by their cage) and shake your hand. It's really funny, because they have totally opposite personalities...

@SuperOreoMan173 Leo hasn't exactly "flown away". Sometimes he wanders further than I would want. Once he was chased by a predator and hid (which worried me), but he was doing "the right thing" at the time, and everything was fine. Since we did a lot of flight training when he was young (during the window of opportunity for learning to fly), he's never been caught by the wind, stuck in a tree, or lost.
