@xxlauraxx12311 I am so glad you found this useful. I keep a notebook nearby me at all times. When I come up with ideas for a video or for describing IH I write them down real quick. Then later on a day when I feel able to write I get out that notebook and compile my ideas into a video script like this. It is the only way I manage to be so concise and descriptive.

@VDubsTDi I am glad that you are finding support. We IH'ers need to stick together.

@Littlebear037 When I was diagnosed it was called pseudotumor cerebri and my doctors still call it that. I am sorry that you have a brain tumor on top of IH. That must be hell to live with all that pressure

@kimpugluver I am glad that this video will be useful to you. I made it to help people like you explain IH to those in their life who don't understand
I had severe IH symptoms for 9 months. Three spinal taps, 2500mg Diamox and 300mg Zonisamide. I had every symptom you listed. I nearly went through with a shunt surgery, but decided to postpone it and try to give the diamox a little more time to work. Two months later, I had no symptoms at all. I'm left with partial blindness in my left eye and I have complete night blindness. I can't see two feet infront of myself in a dark bedroom or when I'm outside at night.

@GracefulSparrow I wish there was more understood about IH and the things that cause it. I am glad your symptoms are gone but it makes me sad that your vision is so badly affected. There is a surgery that might help to relieve the pressure on your optic nerves. It is something like an optic nerve sheath surgery. The put slits in your optic nerves to relieve pressure. You may want to consider it if your papilidema gets worse.

@sh00ter1214 I am happy that I was able to educate you, In 3 years I have had 8 shunt surgeries and I have yet to have one that lasts or works. Worse I have spent about 2 months worth of time hospitalized for infected shunts. They are not something I would recommend to anyone
