Zerith-Last Moments

In the cold wet of the pouring rain, Zack hears a small, yet painfully familiar voice breaking though the bleak landscape. In his disullisoned, half dead mind he is once again in Aerith's church, as if the previous nightmare never happened and all is at peace. There, Aerith laughs and teases him, when he asks if this place is heaven.
"No such luck."
A face comes to surface; a beautiful girl with smiling green eyes and a thick braid of golden brown hair; with a pink, bouncing bow. He smiles as he slowly lets go, knowing he'll see her again soon, one day.
Elsewhere, Aerith sudenly cries out Zack's name as she feels his spirit rejoin the lifestream, as memories flood her mind. Zack is saying his final goodbye.
Troubled, Aerith fails to realise that her lover is gone; and settles down again to take care of her flowers, unsure of what the future holds, and tries to shake off the feeling of sorrow in her heart.
