My Magnet Motor Free Energy Study 2

http://MagnetNerd.com Now get it into your heads, I did not design this as a perpetual motion machine. I'm well aware of the laws of thermodynamics. This is nothing more than a cool looking magnetic go-around thing. It is an experiment to prove that the energy generated by the rotating disk is nowhere near enough to rock the pushing magnet. Additional energy must be supplied (by my finger) to make it spin.

I do like my little toy though. I decided that it's a keeper. I gave the wood a coat of polyurethane, glued the magnets into place and refined the rocking mechanism (from the 1st video) so it can function using 1 finger. I've gotten it up to a rip roaring almost 30 RPM!!! I also know that It is a great educational tool for students of all ages. To a youngster it is magic to make the wheel go round and round when they move the rocker up and down, and without touching the wheel. First they have fun while they develop the coordination needed to keep it spinning. Once they catch the rhythm and can keep it spinning (This takes about 5 minutes.) they really feel like they have accomplished something. It could be an experiment they'll remember for the rest of their life. For older students It's a lesson in thermodynamics. I'll also enjoy the comments that I will receive from the ignorant souls who believe that the perpetual motion is possible.

You should ad A push/pull Rod at the Correct Timing to take the place of your finger and hinge the finger primer to keep perfect alignment . I am going to Build one to see if I can get it to work.. You are very Close to perpetual motion I believe.

what if you used an electro magnet instead of a permanent magnet for the pusher magnet and used the electricity produced by the flywheel to power the pusher? imcertain it would be more efficient, but its unlikely that it would be self sustaining.
