Daylight Run

We see here a record-setting 21 car SP Daylight trainset headed first with 20 cars by a double-headed Lionel TMCC diesel and Lionel TMCC GS-2, and for a finale, the GS-2, belonging to Art Walton, handles the whole 21-car consist by itself! Very nice. I am starting to put this train together in N scale.

3254 - The Daylight runs today with a diesel behind it. Granted it's a Amtrak "Genesis", but in order for the train to carry passengers long distance, the fed requires there to be a modern "backup" engine connected to the train, so the consists that SCOver has put together here is actually somewhat prototypical. He just needs to change the current diesel for a Genesis and tack an auxiliary water tank on the back of the tender.
