  • Gootta love that st-80

  • @expertjohnny1 HAHAHA try moving to Canada before you say that eh buddy

  • @carljlockley Most places work 12 hour days where I come from friend. Every day for 3 weeks at a time, in the North Sea where it gets fucking grim, weather wise. If it werent for mechanisation, we simply wouldn't be able to go as deep, or drill the types of wells we have done. Fair enough you've got all your fingers and toes, for now. Mechanical aids take the "what if" factor out of the equation. Just FYI.. Varco's new AR4500 finds the tooljoint itself, spins in and torq's up automatically!WTF!

  • @dkolewaski if you guys were worth a shit, you wouldn't have to come down here and drill our oil... you arrogant PRICK! Bring your ass to South Texas, I'll show you how stupid you are.

  • What's all this macho bullshit about spinning chains and kicking in slips - that shit is only done by people who know no better - the oilfield is full of older guys with missing fingers and toes - OK - it's faster but who gives a shit, you're just rushing yourself to your next job - if there is one! I've been in the oilfield for 22 years and seen alot of people hurt through doing things quickly - an iron roughneck isn't new technology, it's a lot better than chains and tongs.

  • no valen verga!!

  • @zeebaz1 why break your back for a stupid oil company? idiot.

  • I was curious, what the chain was for and looked at a few videos about oil drilling. After two or three vids I wondered, why they use that primitive chain instead of using smart technology.

At last I got to this video and thank god, someone was intelligent enough, to use smart machinery.

  • that was definitly NOT roughneck'n

  • Wasted enough time to make three connections. Whats wrong with chain and tongs?
