A very nice installation. These run well, although last time the left one was in fire service for no reason. I also noticed that the left one has issues with its door interlock on R; controller probably has a bad relay. Decent ride but doors sometimes shake the cab. Note that the doors on these are counter weighted to help the door operator close them faster.

Oddly enough, these have Series 4/Luxury fixtures, which is not only highly unusual for a parking garage but also not explicitly sold for use with 2000T. Must have been a weird special order; maybe this proves suzzex's hypothesis that Otis likes to use whatever fixtures they like to on any given day.

Brand: OTIS
Installed: 2003
Machine: Geared Traction
Floors Served: *G, 2 - 10, R
Fixtures: Series 4/Luxury

Ride Quality: Good

  • So, if the controllers are Elevonic, then these are not 2000T. I actually think that is a European model. There was only AutoTronic (discontinued), Elevonic, 211, 311 (rare, discontinued), 411 (discontinued), and 411M (discontinued)

  • So, what would this be? 511? 611? Where do you get your information?

  • Then what is 401?

  • Nice job sending this around before it was watchable. 10/10.

  • Youtube does that, not me.

  • Some of their hydraulics' scare me but when it comes to traction, nahh.

  • Standalone luxury direction indicators look like the one on the video as well.

  • @PinePowerLI YES, these are good elevators.

  • Oh I forgot that one. Well then it could be Elevonic 401 or 411, but I am leaning more towards 411, since it is newer, but 401 could be geared traction and 411 gearless, and since these are geared then they might be Elevonic 401. It should say somewhere on the controller.

  • This would be an Elevonic 411. I get my information by reading about elevators and taking to technicians about elevators. I don't think there is a 511 or 611 controller.
