about mao the triple axel was downgraded and the triple lutz was a clear flutz. besides that mao, doubled a planned triple Salchow and his second triple axel.

mao combinations were more simple than those of Miki and for that little mistakes of Mao, Miki with a perfect program, easily won the championship.

To grab a hold of the audience In the arena that She skates In, and the people watching around the world. It Is a special ability. I for one am thankful that Mao Asada Is still skating....I sincerely hope that Mao makes a run for the olympic medals, not only in 2014 Sochi, Russia, but In 2018, and Beyond.

She always has such great footwork. She does twizzles like an ice dancer and picks the most unique transitions.

Wow... she REALLY has improved since Vancouver. She still needs to work on her transitions into jumps but I think her skating looks so much more graceful and smoother than the last season :D

Mao is breathtaking and inspiring but yu na kim always gets the gold, i guess yu na kim works harder and maybe because she is born that way.....

i'm glad she is skating to softer music this season. her costume and makeup are also very pretty. her jumps need work but she is impressive and moving towards the right direction

Mao did good but not her best though. But her jumps are bettter than GPs'. I agree why she is in the 2nd place b/c Miki's jumps were far better than hers. But other than that she excels in other departments.Mao is happy at this moment b/c I think what she is planning to do is little by little getting into her so I am sure she will improve her jumps. I know she can, and when she is really on, she is the best in the world in her time. Absolutely, gorgeous skater and definetely my fav in Sochi.
