I'm fixing to buy a JG AEG Latest Version MK36C Full Size Airsoft AEG Rifle w/ a Reinforced Gearbox and i also am gonna buy Matrix M150 300% Irregular Pitch Airsoft AEG Upgrade Spring (500~600 FPS) and I've never disassembled a gun and I'm 14 imma take a guess and say imma need help from an airsoft store or something??

Just a note, don't open a half cocked gearbox unless you have to. I've broken a tappet plate and lost stuff because of it.

@MrSprett6 your fps decreased because your spring settled, and also if u leave it halfcocked it will decrease it to a certain point

I wouldnt recommend full metal pistons they will ruin your gears faster in high fps setups and rps setups if they strip.

broke 2 piston. i get one shot off and my piston is stripped. even with full metal teeths, engagement teeth just snap off. anybody know if u really need a lipo for this gearbox. i tried it with 9.6v 2000mah battery.

my gun came with a 7.4 volt li-po battery, and i have noticed a decrease in fps over the past 3 months. is that because my spring is halfcocked when i put it away?
