Beaux of London City

The Old Mates, veterans from Het Utrechts Morris Team, performing Beaux of London City, a dance from the tradition of Adderbury. Videofragment from the DVD, made during the Weekend of Dance in 2004 celebrating Utrechts 25th anniversary. The Old Mates gathered for this special occasion only. Shot in front of 'Eeterij De Herberg', Van Teylingenweg, Kamerik, The Netherlands at June 19th 2004.
The Old Mates did have a few practices (the first in 15 years for some of them) and really held their own! The Old Mates were at the celebration with eight men, but unfortunately one of them, squire Jens, sprained his ankle, so Arnold (in a white shirt) joined them as a spare.
