( NaNoWriMo 2009 ) Day 08.

Heeey everyone. So tired today, it really shows. Sorry the video is so dark and grainy today, honestly I'm fair too exhausted to a) have noticed whilst I was recording b) do anything about it now :| I mention another writer and share their advice in this video and forgot who to credit, but that's WRITERANONYMOUS: http://www.youtube.com/user/writeranonymous

Here's a little excerpt of my novel from today, oy:

"Your father told me what happened," she said at last, finally looking back at him. Cole could not help but meet his mother's gaze, those pale eyes that could switch so swiftly from soft and caring to cool and stony. She was a mother, yes, but a warrior too, and not one wolf in the pack could challenge that. "Alswytha is resting, but I have no doubt that she will support the story."

Another sigh falling from his lips, Cole pulled himself up, manoeuvring himself with quiet grace to sit on the pillow at the head of the bed, his back against the wall against which it was stationed. "It makes no difference," he told his mother calmly.

"It does to me," Emily told him, turning her head to look at him, her blonde hair tumbled almost artfully over her shoulders in loose waves. Her eyes were a resolute mixture of those two extremes, compassionate but firm. "It makes all the difference in the world when my son is punished for a crime he did not commit."

T'is only tiny but I wasn't feeling ~The Groove~ today :/ Hope everyone else had a better day than I did, and keep on trucking (yes, I said that), people! We can do this. WE CAN. HEARTS. More tomorrow!
