I am also reading the same book and agree with your comments. I was 9 years old when i watched on television nelson emerge from the prison into freedom. As a young boy i could not grasp the importance of that day but even though i was young i knew that something special was happening

@TheElmerpaul 91, 99 & 03 we were fairly beaten by a better team. Unfortunately the 95 loss will always be clouded with suspicion, some of the die hard AB fans will never accept that defeat, regardless of what happened it was the best result for a rebuilding South Africa. In 07 we genuinely believe the Ref had a shocker no different then the "2011 bryce lawrence conspiracy", same thing but thankfully a different team

Anyway history is history but for the next 4 years.. WE'RE WORLD CHAMPIONS :)

What i really hate about NZ is that they are such ungracious losers. Why cant they just say congratulations. When they were knocked out in 07 they were talking about conspiracies !!! Unbelievable !!
