Milos episode one (finally!): feng shui

As we near the end of our seventeen-episode series, we bring you the saga's beginning!

This episode has been edited and re-edited countless times, and we even had an early version of it up on youtube for awhile. The fact of the matter is, it's very hard to condense a ten-minute scene (let alone an opening scene!) into the space of three minutes. What to keep? What to cut? How to bridge the gaps between one idea and the next? We think we may have found the answers, though the best version of the scene remains, of course, in the original film.

Another big problem is that, while on a whole, the series and the film is extremely visual in nature, without a lot of dialogue, the first ten minutes-- especially when condensed-- is very talky.

Thanks to everyone for their patience; episode sixteen'll be up tomorrow, with the end credits/episode seventeen this coming Tuesday.

Keep an eye on us, though, because we have a new series-- one that's decidedly very different-- coming in the next couple of weeks, one made especially for youtube.
